As an organization, we saw a gap in meeting the immediate needs of disaster survivors and thought, "There has to be another way." We see our mission as augmenting the efforts of existing, large scale work done by much larger organizations and agencies. By being nimble, we are able to deliver assistance quickly to individuals and organizations local to the disaster that need it.
Filling this gap in service is the driving force behind everything we do. Our commitment is grounded in the profoundly moving stories shared by survivors, providing the foundation that guides our strategic, carefully designed approach to help improve the lives of these victims and survivors through this emergency help.
While traditional methods of providing relief for large scale disaster victims have been in place for decades, Rise to Rescue aims to provide nearly immediate assistance. Our organization strives to obtain the most up to date information regarding the variables and factors that contribute to the occurrence of catastrophic events, both nationally and close to home. We draw information from credible firsthand accounts, news and strategic analysis of the options to get emergency assistance onsite quickly, keeping the survivors in the forefront, where they belong.
Our mission is to efficiently provide emergency support to survivors of disaster, tragedy or other unforeseen events.
Through our mission, we provide support survivors during this critical time. We strive to ease the immediate burdens of victims of tragic events and disasters - people and families who suddenly and unexpectedly face life altering circumstances - through prompt and efficient delivery of emergency financial assistance. In addition, Rise to Rescue can assist in arranging transportation, temporary housing, food, clothing and other necessities. If needed, we will also assist in researching further resources to help alleviate their burdens. We are driven by compassion and the overarching desire to help.
The post-disaster survivor experience is daunting. Survivors have published accounts of eviction notices, difficulties in securing temporary housing, and many other challenges, which further highlights the need for near immediate emergency assistance. This essential support helps to defray evictions, mitigate the effects of unemployment and provide some initial resources. Victims and survivors so often face adverse consequences, not only grappling with accepting their altered circumstances but also finding themselves in a protracted struggle to secure the support for themselves and their families.

Partnerships
We are dedicated to assisting those in need, and as a part of our philanthropic endeavors, we have partnered with Wounded Warriors and The Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island for our upcoming charitable event at Portsmouth Publick House in Portsmouth, RI. Furthermore, a portion of the proceeds from this event will be earmarked to aid the survivors of the tragic Hawaiian fire in Lahaina on August 8, 2023, which resulted in the unfortunate loss of over 115 lives and left numerous survivors homeless.
